DAKARNAVE shipyard is ideally situated on the West African coast in the Port of Dakar / Senegal.  This strategic position allows the yard to serve all types of vessels that use the North-South maritime axis.

DAKARNAVE is majority owned by LISNAVE INTERNATIONAL, a branch of Lisnave Shipyard.  The senior management of Dakarnave is Portuguese and they utilise the technical and logisticcal support from Lisnave when and where necessary.

The shipyard is located inside Dakar Port, near the city centre, providing quiet seawater conditions and regular tugboats services.   Dakar has good infrastructure – modern hotels, hospitals and communication systems with daily flights connecting Dakar with the most important cities of Europe and USA. The yard has a total area of 169 000 sqm which includes 39 000 sqm of covered area.  We have a highly skilled team ready to assist with services both in the floating dock (235m loa x 38m beam) and alongside our repair berth (500m with a maximum draft of 9m) including mechanical works, steel work and electrical repairs.
